Days Inn - Sunset is located in North Charlotte at exit 16-A on I-77. We are 3 miles from I-85 and 34 miles from I-40. The Metrolina Expo is only 1 mile away. Attractions within 20 minutes include Paramount Carowinds, Ericsson Stadium, Lowes Motor Speedway, Charlotte Coliseum, Blockbuster Pavilion, Lake Norman and Lake Wylie , Latta Plantation, Discovery Place, Concord Mills and Stowe Botanical Gardens. Just 10 minutes away you will find North Park Business Complex, Research Business Park, First Union Complex, IBM, Bank of America and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. A free continental breakfast is served from 6:00AM to 10:00AM daily. Our indoor pool is open from 10:00AM to 10:00PM daily. Lots of restaurants nearby.
One of two rooms had no fridge/microwave. Gave us one smoking room. Unclean bathroom.

Convenient to everything in Charlotte, NC.
Needs complete upgrade and had trouble with the internet wireless connection throughout the entire week. Complained on several occasions.

Less than satisfactory for a Days Inn and needed a complete upgrade. The location is perfect for the business traveler in CLT.

Not clean, falling apart, apathetic unfriendly staff.

Rooms need renovation soon. Maid did not clean room. Bathtub was disgusting. Room didn't seem very clean. Towels are thinner than a piece of paper. Front desk was slow and clueless upon check in. Breakfast was minimal. This is just not a very clean or well run place. There is massive amount of room for improvement.

Location.
They lost our reservation after check in and therefore didn't clean our room and we had to prove that we belonged there and then the room had ANTS.

We had to change rooms due to ants, they said they would give us a full refund but I doubt that will ever happen.
