"Warm", "professional" service awaits at this "relaxing" Uptown hotel that's "close to the business district" and the stadium (though keep in mind that you "would probably not want to walk to most restaurants and bars"); the rooms are "spacious" and "comfortable", offering "plenty of soft pillows, blankets and accessories", and the restaurant provides a "delicious breakfast."

Parking was a bit expensive, but was convenient.

Loved the warm chocolate chip cookie and friendly staff.
Bathroom was awkward in layout. Air conditioner very loud.

The air conditioner was very loud, the commode was located directly in front of the counter with the sink - very awkward. Thought the cost for parking was high per day. Thankful that I was able to get the room for a much lower cost. I would have been very upset to have paid regular price for this hotel.

Beds were ultra comfy. Staff was helpful/professional. Towncars were a luxurious touch. Location was nearly perfect.
Disappointed there was no balcony or hot tub.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Doubletree Hotel in Charlotte, NC. The location was nearly perfect, a very short walk to the Square Downtown (just a couple of blocks away). The staff was very friendly and helpful giving great advice in any area we asked. One gentleman in particular arranged a town car for us to take downtown instead of a taxi. This made our first night in Charlotte a bit more luxurious and exciting. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others. read more

Friendly staff, and clean hotel.
$10 to park a car overnight.

As with all Double Tree hotels, you get free cookies, a clean hotel and friendly staff. They do charge you extra for internet and parking though, $10 each.

Very friendly staff, most delicious complimentary warm cookies I've ever had.
A bit of a walk from downtown Charlotte. Didn't like paying $10 parking fee.

Very nice staff, clean and pretty hotel with nice courtyard area & private pool. Walking distance to Downtown (but may not do it after dark). Desk clerk Shelly was very helpful and cheerful. She set us up with a town car to drive us to a concert for $8, about the same as a cab. Nice stay here, would definitely recommend it.
