The staff was very courteous and the lobby was nice.
The room was small and crowded, there was no view or swimming pool on the premises and I had to park across the street and walk with bags in tow.

I would never stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone, in fact I would advise anyone going to Durham not to stay there. The staff was nice however the room which you spend most of your time in should be the grand prize and it was far from it. There was no swimming pool or hot tub in the hotel at all, you had to go up the street to the YMCA to use theres. Also my comforter was dirty and I had to request another. it was very unpleasing for my standards. read more

The rooms were lovely, the pillows and bed linens terrific!
Cell phone service in 7th floor room non-existent/horrible

This hotel is worth a stay if cell phone reception is not an issue - we couldn't receive important calls. Parking is not particularly convenient and proximity to Armory with rowdy weekend events can present issues. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

parking was inconvenient

The hotel had a courteous staff and knowledgeable staff about the local area. The only drawback was parking; parking lot is located across the street behind other public buildings.
