Days Inn Gastonia - West Of Charlotte Kings Mountain

The location was not very good, it seemed a bit run - down.

The hotel staff was great and very accommodating. The room was very clean. The noise was not so good. I suspect because this hotel was in the south east that it is probably not as insulated as what I am used to. I could here everything going on in the room next to ours and could hear traffic from the streets and highway all night long.

Hotel was exactly as described on priceline.

Hotel met our expectations. room did not smell. breakfast was waffels, mini-donuts, plain bagel, toaster will not sink the bagel to the bottom, cerials, milk, juices, apples, but poor bananas, no oranges.

The location for us at the time was nice rates were very comfortable, kindness shown; pleasant manager's willingness to do what for the customer of any problems that may accrue.

I had a beautiful view of a toilet in the yard outside my room. I was disappointed that the pool was not open, but that may have been normal for the time of year. The room seemed to be falling apart in places and there was a mouse that scurried into a hole in the wall upon being discovered in one of our bags.

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

This is by far the worst hotel I¿ve ever been at. It was dirty, paint and wall paper coming off the walls, the front door had been kicked in multiple times. Worst of all there are more rooms than parking spaces and I had to park on the grass. The only thing that would make me happy at this point is for my money back.
