My husband and I were used to booking 3 or 4 star hotels. We were having trouble booking a hotel in Mooreshead so we went down to a 2 star. I was afraid the accommodations were not going to be good but I was pleasantly suprised. In fact we had more amenities (fridge,microwave etc)than our high priced rooms.

Very old furniture, old smell in the room, very old carpets. Location is OK. Breakfast was warm and fresh. If you are use to staying in a 3 or 4 star hotel, this is not the hotel for you. Very unhappy that this was a Holiday Inn Express hotel.

Service was awful. Very unprofessional. When I went to explain the unsanitary state of my room staff very unhelpful. I had to bring down the sign from my hotel room that bragged a sanitation guarantee to get hotel to issue credit. The towels were dirty and had hair in them, my mother had the pleasure of discovering a dirty thong underneath the bed where she slept. Hotel issued credit to my account (supposedly) I have yet to see credit on my credit card, that was a week ago today. I will now have to issue a dispute with my credit card company. Oh yeah, and while we slept someone did a hit and run on my mother's car in the hotel parking lot. Waiting for police to get back to us on that one. ...

Group Traveler
We were traveling with our daughter, her husband, and their 2 young children. The rooms were perfect for comfort and visiting and sleepovers. The housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. The desk staff were very pleasant and informative. I loved the hotel.
