BridgePointe Hotel and Marina is quietly situated on the Neuse and Trent Rivers across from Historic Downtown New Bern. Our hotel is located off Highway 70 exit 417 next to Outback Steakhouse. We are within minutes of downtown shopping, historic sightseeing, fantastic restaurants, Croatan National Park, Tryon Palace, Craven County Regional Airport, and the New Bern Convention and Visitors Center. All rooms feature microwaves, small refrigerators, coffeemakers, cable TV, free local calls, irons, ironing boards, hairdryer, voice mail, and free WI FI High Speed Internet Access. It was close to downtown.
It looked dingy and outdated from the outside.

This hotel looked dingy and outdated from the outside, but the rooms were nice on the inside. Breakfast was bare bones, nothing special. The staff was average.

There was a funny smell to the entire hotel.

The hotel was clean however had a really funny smell all around it. It was perfect for what we needed it for. We were in town visiting family therefore the hotel met our needs.

Property very dated. Decor worn.

I think this hotel is just waiting to be retired. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The property left a lot to be desired.

The outside of the hotel did not match the interior. A little concerned at first. But the hotel was very nice on inside and the staff was great.

It was on the water.
Out-dated rooms. Small bathroom. The room smelled. Need I say more.

The lobby was nice but then you enter the room. The deodorizer they use will knock you out. The bathroom was small and nasty. The bed was very uncomfortable. The rooms need to be updated.

Location was perfect.
Very run down. Smell of Lysol covering smoke. Old and not kept up.

This is a hotel that I would stay away from. It is not in the same category as Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, etc. very old, musty, and eerie. The restaurant was vacant other than the continental breakfast area.
