Best Western Raleigh North

I called the hotel before arriving to make sure I had two beds in the room, the clerk assures me that "yes, I see we have you in for two queen beds in that room" Upon checking into the room I find that there is one queen bed and a pull out sofa. I went back and asked the desk clerk and he informed me that "they consider that two beds" Nothing I could do but walk back down the dank, dark hallway to my musty room and sleep on a lumpy pullout sofa! read more

I had reserved 2 rooms. Upon arrival, I was told that no non-smoking rooms were available. Although the rooms were clean they had the smell of a smoker's room. After returning to the room from dinner, my room card would not open the door. It took 3 trips to the front desk and 2 by the on-site manager before he could get a card that would work.

It's clean, and spacious, not luxurious, but nothing offensive. We were 2 adults/2 kids and the room was big enough. Not a place for family vacation, but did the trick for 2 nights. The free breakfast had plenty to choose from, and very clean.

Its a nice place to stay for a couple of nights.

We will stay there again, even with the fact that the floor in the bathroom had baby powder and long black hairs upon it. The bed looked as if the cleaning staff had sat upon the bed after making it, perhaps to watch TV.

Clean, friendly, easy to access from a main road. It is next door to a major coffee chain, so we were most pleased with our options for coffee.

I was overall pleased I would stay there again on a business trip not for pleasure unless I was tight on money.

Over all okay for a one night stay, would not stay there if I had to stay more than two days.

Could of switched rooms but were already unpacked.
