Location was excellent to visit our son and family.
Non functioning fans, dated furnishings and
small bath.
A large older hotel with good accommodations but with dated furniture, non operating fan in bath, noisy fan in room, and limited amenities. It is due the update that other Holiday Inns are undergoing.

Friendly front desk staff, friendly wake up call.
Good location for NCSU,but not for my needs, I was visiting friends in North Raleigh. Every hotel room in 2009 should have individual heating and A/C.

I loved the location.
I did not like the water pressure in shower nor the comfort of the bed.

The gentleman at the front desk was extremely accomodating and polite.
Pleased with the experience and would stay in the hotel again when in town.

Great location near Cameron Village. Try Cameron Village Tavern for dinner. Menu was great and food presentation was great also.
Ice machine very loud as well as the doors to the rooms when closing.

The Priceline price made this hotel worthwhile.
There is no way this is a 3 star hotel. The rooms were old and not that nice.
This is an old hotel with old exercise equipment. It should be rated no higher than a two star. The bathroom had a used wash cloth left in it. We contacted room service about the need for a new coffee maker but it never came. The plugs on the one side of the wall did not work.

Because of its location
I was able to get to where
I needed to go very easily.
Originally
I was booked in a room with double beds and
I ordered a king & it said there was smoking.
I
found that the information online was not updated with what the hotel offered although the hotel did make arrangements to correct this once i arrived.
I found this hotel to be pleasant to stay at.

The location was the only thing I liked.
Noisy! Paper thin walls. You could hear everything, even from way down the hall!
It said it was a smoke-free building, yet the entire building smelled like smoke. Noisy beyond belief. I was woke up about 10 times during the night by the party the room next to me was having. I called the front desk, they were sending security but security never came. I know cause I could hear every word being said. Location was good for everything to do in Raleigh. Otherwise, nasty nasty hotel. read more

Nothing.
Did not have heating. Last time I stayed there, they did not have hot water.
The last time I stayed at the hotel, it did not have hot water for the first day. Had to take a cold shower. This time, I found out that they put on the heating when the outside temperature drops below 60 degrees. The room was cold and freezing. The TV in the room was also old and did not have good quality picture.
