Best Western Statesville Inn

My wife became ill during our stay. She had forgotten to bring her medication. I had it shipped to us, but my wife became even more upset. I decided the best thing would be to return home. I contacted the desk clerk, and asked if she would be able to return the medication to our home address. I believe this lady was the most understanding and helpful of any Hotel staff that I have ever had contact with. Just ten minutes ago, I received the return medication. I called the Hotel and talked with the clerk and thanked her again. I think this lady should be recognized by the Best Western HQ, and used as an example of what every hotel should aspire for. read more

Nice area, short ride to various local restaurants. Harley Store down the street. Close
to freeway. Beds were comfortable.

In town for the horse auction, was very pleased with the location with easy access to interstate. We checked in kinda late in the evening, but the lady behind the counter had keys in our hands quickly.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The grounds weren't attractive, the area it is located within is kind of scary at night, it is loud (trains came through at 12:30 a.m. And 7:30 a.m. Very near the hotel - woke me up both times) and the room I received was supposed to be non-smoking but was not. Was not impressed at all.
