Best Western Silver Creek Inn

I traveled to pick up my Marine son coming home from Afghanistan . . I didn't want to be too close to Jacksonville because all of the reviews were about dirty bathrooms. These bathrooms were very clean and the staff was very courteous, but I felt that the price was a lot for the time we spent there.

Great place to stay with easy access to amenities of Emerald Isle, Swansboro. Convenient to military bases. Older style fixtures in bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet hotel.

The hotel was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very large and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would stay here again.

At our request, they gave us a room near the elevator because we had someone on crutches. They were also accomodating of our uncertainty about whether we would need to use the third night of our reservation. They made it easy for us to check-out, but hold on to that last night until we were sure we wouldn't need it. Room was serviceable. Continental breakfast left a little to be desired. Front desk personnel was quite helpful.

As mentioned above, the hotel felt safe, was attractive, and conveniently located, as was getting to our room. We did not use or intend to use the pool, and it was not in the way of getting to the elevator or our room. The air in the room worked well, and amenities were convenient.

Very clean and convenient.

My stay was 5 days. Each day they made sure my room was thoroughly cleaned and all used towels had been replaced. The staff was very polite and helpful. I stayed on the nonsmoking floor and have never smelled a cleaner room. If you are looking for cleanliness in a hotel. This is a great choice.
