We?re just 3 miles from Eastgate Mall and less than 10 minutes from River Downs, River Bend Music Center, and all the fun of Coney Island. River Star Ball Park, Expressway Ball Park, and East Fork Ball Park are all within 10 minutes, for baseball/softball fans. All the fun attractions of downtown Cincinnati and Newport, KY?Newport Aquarium, Great American Ballpark, Paul Browns Stadium, the Museum Center, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Zoo, and Xavier University?are only 20-30 minutes from this hotel. Functional - no extra amenities.
Worn out and no signs of upgrades.

Hotel is worn out and we saw no attempt for routine improvements and upgrades as seen in other Red Roofs. New ownership - maybe no time as yet to improve the property.

It was clean. The people were friendly.
No breakfast.

Don't expect breakfast. There isn't any. McDonald's, however, is right next door. There is a fridge/microwave in the room. There's a cappuccino machine in the lobby. The room is cozy.

Dirty, run down, noisy, don't care attitude, neglected.

The 1st room was a horrible dirty small room with cigarette burns in the upholstery and black things on the sheets. The 2nd room was larger but dirty, crumbs between the sheets, run down and neglected, noisy at night, mold growing in the bath and with ice machines that were empty. It is in bad need of renovation. I will never stay there again. I realize that we did not spend a lot of money for the room but it should at least be clean. read more
