Beautiful architecture. Lots of charm.
They had a prom in the central room which radiated very loud and clearly audible music and voices onto the room.
Will never stay here again. It was laughable the absurdity of having a prom there without informing the guests. It was blaring music till 1130 then they were cleaning up and putting away tables and chairs till about 1am. If the rooms didn't literally have a glass wall to the main area it wouldn't have been so bad. Very upset with the stay.

The people that worked there were very accommodating. The location was great.
It needed coffee! No coffeemaker in room, no coffee kiosk in lobby or arcade.

I expect a King bed when I stay in a 4 Star hotel and since that was not guaranteed I had to negotiate it at check-in.

Beautiful restored building.
Hotel closed down restaurant earlier than stated open time. No customer service.
The hotel was dead. The restaurant closed earlier than posted. Had to eat in the bar with a surly bartender. The wallpaper was peeling in the room. All push to connect numbers either rang and rang or busied out. I expected more for a downtown hotel that is supposed to be 4-star.

No pool or hot tub was really looking forward to hot tub after 9 hours traveling..need new TV's.
