King room was large, and elevators fast.
Terrible first impression, too much construction, charged for parking twice, and parking too far away.
I was excited to have the Hyatt Regency Columbus accept my Priceline bid. It is a nice enough place to stay if you are using taxis. My experience stunk. My room on the 19th floor had a great view of the train tracks and highway east side. Construction went on throughout the night such as sawing metal girders. Parking was said to cost $12 for 24 hours, but I was charged twice because if you leave before 8 am there is no attendant to validate parking. As a business traveler, it is rare that I would check out of my hotel after 8 am. That would mean my flight home or to my next destination was departing after 10:30 am. Parking was easily 5 miles. No parking to speak of at the front door of the hotel. read more

Very convenient to the convention center. Easy access as a pedestrian to venues.
Halls and some room furnishings starting to show wear.
Well located property for Hockey and convention center events. Staff was friendly and responsive.

Excellent location and price.
For those who enjoy hockey in Columbus, the Hyatt Regency is in a perfect location...one block away from Nationwide Arena and its surrounding nightclub/restaurant district. The front desk staff was very friendly and accomodating.

The beds were really soft and comfortable.
No breakfast, no parking, no free internet, ice cold swimming pool.
This hotel is a convention hotel. Typical upscale hotel. I would've preferred the 2.5 star Drury next door with a breakfast, free parking and free internet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The best part was the beds, really soft and comfortable. The down feather duvets were warm, too.

Clean with great location.
Business center was not complimentary!
The staff was not able to meet a room request and did not do anything to try and work something out. The business center was poor and their was a charge to use it which in my eyes is completely unacceptable in a 3.5 star expensive hotel! The room was very clean and the location was key!
