The Howard Johnson Lima hotel is conveniently located off Interstate 75 in Northwest Ohio. Our modern Facilities and our hometown staff create an atmosphere of comfort and luxury. The Howard Johnson Lima is located near such attractions as Allen County Fairgrounds, Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum, and Indian Lake. Many large companies surround the Lima area including Ford, General Dynamics and two secondary schools, The Ohio State University - Lima and Rhodes State College. Clean and quiet.
Stairs need some repairs.

Good for the money. Need to have a sign on the building as all other hotels in the area do. It was a little hard to find.

I was able to check in early when I got in room, I could smell old smoke. They changed it for me, and brought the new key to my room.

Very quick and responsive to my needs. I was getting over a cold and they changed the smoker's room to non-smoking, and when I requested an even cleaner smelling room, they changed it again.

Most of the rooms on the inside overlook the pool and recreation area - can be noisy.

I would recommend this hotel.

Good wireless internet service, helpful staff.
Pool cast a pretty heavy chlorine odor throughout the hotel.

This hotel is very comfortable for a business traveler. Good wireless connection in the room - fitness room available, and restaurant on site if you don't have time to check out the area for other eating venues. Staff is very accommodating if you have questions or needs.

Had great kid stuff although we didn't have our kids.
No thermostat in rooms. Either so cold or hot and getting up to turn on/off heater was a pain.

Lack of automatic heating system was really a pain and the bedding was sparse-thin, old. Not what we expected for 3 stars, but not horrible either.

This hotel was great. We arrive Christmas day and no resturants were open. The hotel had sandwiches, chips, fruit & drinks, at no charge, for their guests. The room they put us in first did not have any heat so the front desk clerks gave us keys to two other different rooms for us to check out and see if they would be o.k. The staff was so helpful and so nice. We will stay there again when we are passing through the area. read more
