Description of Comfort Inn & Suites
Open in 2006, this is the newest hotel in Talaquah. The Comfort Inn and Suites is in the heart of Cherokee Nation capital. All rooms include microwave, refrigerators, iron and ironing boards, hard wired and wireless high speed internet access and coffee makers. We have a free continental breakfast, business center, fitness room, indoor pool and hot tub on premises and whirlpool rooms available in some rooms. 80 percent of our rooms are non-smoking. Area attractions include but are not limited to historical Cherokee land, water sports on the Illinois River, Casinos and the Trail of Tears. Great restuarants within a short distance from hotel. read more

The location.
The rate, and lack of cleanliness, carpet had not been vacuumed or the room dusted.

Someone tried to enter room with an electronic key and actually gained entry. It was not room service and the front desk could not give me an explanation.

The rooms were large and clean.
Breakfast.

The hotel overall was a pleasant experience. However, when we went downstairs 15 minutes before breakfast was over, there was no food left. 2 bagels, 2 sausage patties, and a little orange juice. We waited for 15 minutes and then went to the front desk. Turns out that they do not have someone working the breakfast bar, and it is first come first serve. They did end up getting one of the housekeepers to put together a few things to satisfy our hunger. The people did all they could to help us, but I would recommend to be down to breakfast by 7:00 am. No sleeping in even if it is for pleasure. read more

Bed was comfortable and the staff very helpful.
They were not pet friendly.

I enjoyed our stay. The room was fine, the bed very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not quite what I expected but it wasn't terrible.

The service was pleasant and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It was in a great location for our business travel & shopping.
Breakfast consisted of dry cereal that we didn't like. Not many choices available.

A restful nights sleep after 4hours of driving is very important to us. We slept like babies. It was quite and very comfortable.

Got a smoking room.

Nice room except I had to endure stale smoke. I am very allergic to smoke so the stay was not very pleasant.
