Helpful staff.
Location was next to the highway and makes it too noisy.

We really enjoyed the large whirlpool tub in the room. It was very relaxing after touring all day.
When we arrived they put us in a smoking room, but moved us as soon as we told them.

It was a nice hotel for the price. We were pretty much only there at night. The bed was kind of hard and we really don't like the pillows that they have now days. We always bring our own. The continental breakfast was really nice, had a lot to choose from.

One way street infront of the hotel leaving to go somewhere was a nightmare.

Clean older/remodeled. Beds were lower quality. Noise from freeway hard to block out. Unusual stairway situation you had to go down 4-5 stairs to then go upstairs.

The location.
See item 12.

The bed was very uncomfortable and a lot of the TV channels did not come through.

Good location to local attractions.
Small outdoor pool.

The room is clean; TVs are small and no sleep timer. Pool is outdoors and is nice but small. Overall location in relation to attractions is good; access to hotel is moderately difficult if not familiar with the area. Overall rating is 1.5 to 2 stars at best.

Closeness to the freeway and food.
No refrigerator or microwave in room.

Friendly hotel for business travelers. Comfortable, not fancy. Great restaurant next door.

Location.
Clogged sink, heater that did not work.

This is second time trying this hotel, although the location is great for our travel needs I do not believe we will stay here again. The whole hotel needs a make over. House cleaning should be looked at we found used shampoo left in our room and some garbage under table. All the front desk staff were great and friendly.

Management, new owner.
Cleanliness of rooms (we had 3).

Needs better housekeeping crews, rooms, and grounds in need of updating. Management & staff quite nice. They went out of their way to fix pool gate, so my grandchildren could use the pool, which otherwise they could not have. Called over general manager of the monarch to make it happen. He was really nice and helpful.

I liked the pool and the breakfast.
There were no pool towels and no food left for breakfast by 9am on the day we left.

Easy to find and get on and off the freeway. The pool was nice, but you had to walk out front to access it. It would be nice to have an access from the rooms too. The freeway noise is loud at times in the rooms.
