Coos Bay's only waterfront motel, the beautiful Edgewater Inn is located one block off of Highway 101 in the heart of the southern Oregon coast's recreational and business capital. Within minutes you can visit Oregon's sand dunes, ocean beaches, premier restaurants, golf, fishing, and the world famous Shore Acres State Park. Whale watching, hiking, biking, crabbing, beachcombing, dune buggies, horseback riding, kite flying, jet boat trips, spectacular sunsets - its all here waiting for you. Accommodations at this Magnuson Hotels affiliate include free breakfast, wireless internet, indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center. Rooms are beautifully appointed with wireless internet, cable TV with extra stations, VCR, movie rentals, coffeemaker, microwave, refrigerator, and recliner. The view of the river was pleasant and relaxing.

A pleasant view of the river and a wood mill from the room. Most rooms have balconies. The community has a food delivery service that allows you to order from about 20 different food establishments. It was reasonable and allowed a change of pace.

The beds slope in the middle and there were cigarette burns on the carpet. The furniture was beat up and tacky.

I was expecting more and was not the least bit impressed. The place needs to be cleaned up and taken care of. The hotel lobby rug was even in bad shape. The dock on the bay was okay but the scenery was awful. I will not stay here again and we travel to the Oregon Coast quite often.

This hotel had nice comfortable beds and was clean.

This hotel was clean, and comfortable. It was in a good location and there were lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The dunes and ocean was nearby to provide fun and entertainment.

The room was spacious.
The bed was very uncomfortable and it was broken down and hard.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly, but the beds are extremely uncomfortable. Not a place that I would stay for an extended period. The parking is not great, if you are traveling with a large pick-up the parking lot can be hard to move around when its even somewhat full.
