Comfort Inn Newport

Didn't really expect much driving up to the motel. it looked pretty much like every other so-so budget property but the modest lobby was very inviting with attractive furniture and a nice fire going. the young lady at the front desk could not have been more courteous and helpful. The room itself looked better than a lot of 4 star+ properties we've stayed at.

The Newport Comfort Inn was in a great location, right across from the ocean and some great beaches. I felt it was a safe area of town. The room did not have any weird smells and was very comfortable. The breakfast provided at no cost was great; waffles, toast, cereal, fruit and more. I was very happy with my experience there.

We chose this for the economy price and the close location to an event for which we came to Newport. It was clean and comfortable, the staff were polite, and the continental breakfast had several options. There was no view (we looked onto the parking lot), but only a short walk to the beach and other areas of interest.

I think the staff and location were great. The bed were comfortable and we found the hotel very quiet. The best part was location to the beach. We were literally at the beach in 3 minutes walking from our hotel. The continental breakfast was great, starting the day without the expense of breakfast for 4 people.
