The Best Western Widener Hotel and Suites is the newest, greenest and most friendly hotel in the Philadelphia area! We are located in the City of Chester-- the gateway to Delaware County, PA, the City of Philadelphia and the state of Delaware. Just six miles from Philadelphia International Airport and 10 minutes from Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack, the hotel is part of the $50 million University Crossing development at Widener University, which also includes an apartment complex, a 24 hour 7-11 and a Chester Police substation. By Spring 2010 we plan to add a full service restaurant. The hotel includes 60 designer rooms, a large open lobby, a fitness center, breakfast/meeting area, wireless high speed internet and a free shuttle service. The 60 guest rooms include standard single kings and double queens, kings with Jacuzzi tubs and/or sleep sofas, business suites with sitting areas and extended stay suites with sitting rooms and kitchenettes. All guest rooms include HSIA, 32-inch LCD TV's, premium satellite TV, mini fridges, lounge chair and ottoman, desk and chair, hairdryer, iron and board and a private bathroom. read more

Convenient location.
No security throughout the hallways allowing noisy people.

Great stay with the only negative being the loud noises made by idiots in the hallways that disregard respect for people sleeping during late evening and early morning hours.

Huge room clean, convenient.
Lobby, front desk is to small, narrow.

Could have some complimentary, water, soda or juice in the cooler, or for guaranteed booked room, cookies or a couple pieces of fruit. The hotel is close to the highway, university, & about 1/2 an hour from center city Philly, public transportation.

It is Brand New.
I could't find anything.

The ease of finding as well as the neighborly atmosphere made for a totally uneventfull visit and when you do this multiple times a week that says a lot. Good job to the staff as well as the planners you met and exceeded all of my needs.
