It was located close to Bushkill falls.
You could not park close to your room, and the pathways to rooms were not always well lit.

OK- but we will not stay there again. Beds not very comfortable. Had to pay for wireless internet. Bathroom was nice, though.

had a washer and dryer, kitchen dishes, utensils were very clean
was shabby, hallway smelled like mold

had to have maintenance fix night lock, lamp was broken, pull-out sofa bed was toooo soft and not comfortable, pool water was not clear, comforter and blankets were not washed, map of resort was very confusing, website was not clear about what was included and what was available for a fee, no floats for the pool, jacuzzi was nice but noisy

Close to the family we were seeing in the area.
Restaurant for breakfast needs big time updating.

Have stayed here several times in the past and over the year's the breakfast menu has still never changed. Needs improvement. Good place to stay. Lots of activities year round.

I liked the kid friendly atmosphere. The children loved the kid’s camp.
Service at the trolley stop dinner was slow.

I have stayed in this hotel several times for both winter and summer sports. The hotel is very kid friendly. They have lots of activities for families and the staff’s suggestions on what to do are always helpful. The rooms themselves need a little attention. There seems to be some moisture problems in the hotel and it is evident in almost every room. Be careful of the doors as well. Many times while staying there we have come back to our rooms only to find the doors open. Nothing was ever missing and none of our things were touched. I believe the doors are due to house keeping. read more

I like the amenities.
The service was horrible.

If you go to the Pocono’s I would not suggest Fernwood. The restaurants left much to be desired. The room amenities were great but once you relax be prepared to sleep on a hard uncomfortable bed, and if you need an extra pillow you may not get it, we didn't.

The staff and guests were very friendly. I like having directions to everywhere we wanted to go.

This was a nice surprise. We booked our trip last minute and were very pleased with the resort, staff, and the experience we had there. We will definitely be back.

My son loved the game room. There were several resaurants that were nice.
The rooms were dirty and outdated.

There were several activities for the family to do. There was also a choice of restaurants to eat. The rooms were dirty. The carpets were horrible!
