They called a few nights before my stay and gave me a free upgrade to a King suite with a view of Montage Mt. It was a really nice suite!
The pool looked like it required a bit of attention-it was kind of cloudy-perhaps too many chemicals.
It's a very nice, affordable hotel right off of I-81 in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, PA. We were very close to Montage Mt. Ski resort/Toyota Pavillion concert stage and The Steamtown Mall in Scranton. The hotel gave me a free upgrade to a King suite with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, and an awesome big jacuzzi tub where you could look out at the view of Montage Mt or watch TV from. Also it had a nice divider between the King bed area and the rest of the room, which included a sofa bed for some privacy for traveling couples with children. Nice exercise room, pool area, and huge hot tub! read more

Very friendly staff, very accommodating and easy to find.
Needed more hotel supervision in the pool area. Some of the teenagers that were there were not following pool rules. Dangerous!
Overall it was a great place to take kids, non smoking was a plus for sure. We loved having the refreshments in the front lobby. The pool area was a problem with the teenagers jumping in the hot tub, then running to get the pool, I am surprised no one got hurt.

Layout, pool & hot tub, breakfast.
All room doors closed loudly.
A nice clean place. Rooms were spacious and kept up. Location was perfect if going skiing, to a baseball game or visiting Scranton.

The breakfast's were good, especially the make your own waffles.
Hotel staff was not so helpful when there is a problem.
First night there was a very loud party on our floor that kept us up all night, many guests complained, nothing was done. Coolers filled with water and ice were dumped in the hall, the hall had a strong smell of people smoking (a violation of the hotel). The second day the elevator broke and we had to use the stairs.
