Americas Best Value Inn Conference Center

i didn't have high expectations so i wasn't really bothered with the poor state it was in. we only stayed there to sleep. the room was ok some paneling was peeling off and the bathroom had spider webs. The alarm clock didn't work and they room telephones were out of order too.

We were checking into the hotel under emergency circumstances where our ceiling in the bedroom of our apartment caved in. We were checking into the hotel to get away from the mildew and mold in our apartment but, after stepping foot in that hotel it made us go back home and tough it out with the mildew and mold from our collapsed ceiling!

The room was huge! The bathroom and decor wasn't that fancy, not too much to it really. Conveniently located, friendly staff and the bar/rest connected was awesome. Great service, fun Sports/Club like atmosphere, really nice good looking young crowd. Ample parking.

It seems that they were interested in numbers, and not much more. Things need fixing, but that did not seem to be something that was high on their customer comfort list.

My stay in this hotel was awful! As we were walking to the counter to check in, they didn't bother to greet us, they were only concerned if we were over 21. Then they tried to charge me twice for the room and when I questioned it they acted like it was my fault. They didn't know anything about customer service! When we look in the bathroom there little bugs in the bath tub! Also there were holes in the walls covered up by wallpaper, and the phone was damaged. Hotel was good. However, the drunks at the attached restaurant/bar took most of the parking spaces near the rooms. I could hear them staggering back, yelling at each other, from 12m 2am.

Don't expect cleanliness.

Other than the smell from a mushroom factory/farm down the road, the hotel was more than adequate for inexpensive business travel.

I was very displeased with the hotel. I was very disappointed.

The breakfast was a joke. The hot food was home fries period. There was dry cereal, muffins, bagel and English muffins. Butter, jelly and cream cheese coffee and tea. The desk was cooperative and friendly. The rooms (we had two) were both moldy smelling. The outdoor pool was great, requested you bring your own towels and take a shower but provided no shower or warning to pack towels. The spa was not. The location was amid three other hotels on a weird intersection. It was close to major highways and to shopping. Downtown was 10 minutes away. Really a 1 1/2 not a two. read more
