Family Traveling with Young Children
My daughter had a 7:00 pm 'sharp' event she was attending at the hotel and upon our arrival at 6:20 pm, I presented my reservations and immediately was told: 'we don't have your reservations'. I was informed someone would be working on this in the back room and to have a seat. My daughter needed to get dressed for her event and twenty minutes later, we still didn't have a room. Thirty minutes later, a staff member informed me that our reservation was ready and to follow her to the desk for completion of the process. As I approached the desk, she loudly said 'go to the end of the line'. Also, when I pulled up to Valet the car, I was immediately locked into having to leave my car out in a line on the street as the vehicle in front of us left a vicious dog in the car and it could not be moved by the Valet service and therefore, we had to haul all of our bags, etc from the street into the hotel until the driver was located. That was an additional 30 minutes!

Hotel was fine, but providence is a little sketchy. I have traveled to many big cities, often, and the was my first time in providence. I wouldn't recommend it's downtown at all.

The parking was horrible, you had to pay $10 to park in a garage every time you left and came back. Even if it was for 20 minutes.

Great location and within easy walking distance of many attractions.

Great location. They really need to stop charging for internet service. Any 4G hot spot or phone out-paces their service yet they insist on charging for this convenience in the room. This is insane.
