Location was good, view was great, bar/restaurant was good, room stunk like smoke.
They put us in a smokers room, not acceptable.

Hotel had plenty of admirable features and services, but the smokers room was a real put off. However I would stay there again, just in a non smokers room.

Air conditioner left room musty.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was cozy with comfortable beds. It had a nice view of the Ashley river and the Charleston marina. The elevators were quick. The room was quiet. I enjoyed my trip to Charleston immensely.

Heating unit, staff at Rooftop Restaurant and shuttle bus driver.

This Holiday Inn occupies a beautiful site on the Ashley River overlooking the historic section of Charleston. The shuttle service makes touring the city convenient, even though the driver was not as helpful as some of the other staff. If you like being close to what you came to see, this is a good choice of hotel.

We liked the location and accessibility to downtown. Also, the shuttle was convenient.
Our air conditioning unit was dirty - blowing dirty air into room.

We enjoyed our stay! Staff was very helpful, especially when I unexpectedly needed to find an urgent care medical facility. Our room was very nice and very comfortable. The view from the restaurant was beautiful. With only one issue, a dirty air conditioning unit, we were very happy with our room. We would stay here again.

One elevator did not work.

Great alternative to staying at pricier downtown Charleston hotels. Free shuttle into Charleston was an added bonus. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The use of the shuttle bus came in very handy because parking downtown was difficult.

Overall it was a pleasant hotel. The staff was great. They recomended places to dine, visit and various attractions.

Beds weren't very comfortable, and there were a few bugs in the room that I had to kill.

Hotel has great location and views from the top floor restaurant, however the hotel doesn't provide breakfast (Except for a standard continental breakfast that they charge $9 for in the restaurant) and the rooms are outdated. I also had to kill a few bugs in my room, the bed and pillows weren't very comfortable, the walls were thin, and I could hear the elevator ding as it went up and down from my bed. read more

Very clean, knowledgeable staff, comfortable bed with a collection of pillows all a different thickness. I found one I liked so much I tried to find a model number so I could buy one of the same type.
