We are minutes away from The Columbia Metropolitan Airport and the Great State Capital of South Carolina. The Days Inn Columbia South Carolina is surrounded by banks, restaurants, downtown, the state museum, the University of South Carolina, Fort Jackson Military Base and the VA Hospital. We are the closest Days Inn to Downtown Columbia and Columbiana Mall at Harbison, making us the most convenient place to stay in Columbia! 1st room we tried was open and the toilet was full and unflushed.

Very isolated. 1st room assigned to us was left unlocked/ajar and bathroom had been used and not flushed. The odor was horrible. 2nd room's door latch did not operate properly. One bldg was being renovated but was not fenced off creating an unsafe situation. Was not satisfied with the overall experience.

Bad area.

Small rooms, scum on bathtub thick enough to scrap with fingernail. Hairs in bathroom area. 2nd section of hotel still under renovation after more then a year with missing windows and doors. breakfast was just okay. This is my 4th time at this hotel and maybe the worst stay of the 4. Have stayed at other 2 star hotels in this area at same price point that are much nicer.

Was noisy outside all night.

Very clean room and lobby and breakfast area. Room was renovated and looked nice, bed was comfortable, sheets were clean. Was very pleased with the room especially for that price, but we had bad neighbors who were s loud all night we couldn't sleep. That was a big minus!

Dirty, owner and management didn't care that I wasn't happy.

This hotel was one that I will never stay at again. My room did not lock and nothing was done about it, I had to leave the hotel and leave my things in there and I was told that something would be done, nothing was. It was also filthy, the bedding was covered in dirt and so was all of the furniture. Definitely a place I will not be returning, the management refused to do any kind of discount or return and money to my debit card, they pretty much told me it wasn't their problem. This hotel gave Days Inn a bad name. read more

I was very pleased that we had ajoining rooms since we were traveling as a group.
I wish the continenal breakfast had a waffle maker.

I was very pleased with the hotel staff. They were very friendly and helpful. I was very happy that we had ajoining rooms, since we were traveling in a group. My son was graduating from basic training, so we had alot of the family together. We had plenty of towels and other supplies. Overall, if I had to stay in South Carolina again-I would stay at this Days Inn. Thank you for a great stay!! read more

Smelled horrible, fingernails & toothpicks on carpet. Filthy!

Would not recommend anyone with children or dignity stay here.
