The friendly staff that wanted your stay to be satisfying.
The carpet in the room need to be cleaned.
The cable went out in our room and we were immediately switched to a room with cable and given time to make the change at our convenience. The only concern I had was that both of the rooms had dirty carpet. Everything else was good and we plan to visit that hotel again.

Breakfast was good.
I didn't like the smell of the room.
The hotel was not so bad for the star rating. Just an average 2.5 star hotel. I liked the complimentary breakfast. I expected a typical continental breakfast but it was actually buffet, which was good.

Price/Location.
Run-down building.
You can't beat the price, but please don't be fooled by the pictures. I have stayed here multiple times, mainly due to price and location (close to Sea Pines, the beach, food/drink/shopping).

Too far from beach, We were put in handicap room.
We were put in a handicapped room without being told. In addition, for a handicapped room, it was small and cramped everywhere but the bathroom. When I called the front desk to ask if there was another room, the attendant never called back after agreeing to check. There was only decaf coffee available in the room, and there was no microwave. Finally, there was hair left in the shower and the beds had not been properly made. We will not be staying here again. read more

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Quiet environment and close the the beach.
Parking lot smelled like sewage, walked into the room with two dead wasps, and room smelled closed in and felt humid.
The hotel overall is livable, but is not highly recommended. If you are not very picky about where you stay, then this is a good place to choose. But if you like very clean environments in which you feel comfortable lying down your head, walking bearfeet, and allowing your baby to crawl on the bed without intensely watching his/her every move; then this is not the hotel for you. read more

Dingy and mold smell.
Aside from a very pleasant staff, this hotel will be worst part off your trip. There are plenty of things to do near the hotel, so use it only as the staging ground for fun.
