The hotel provided basic amenities that were in relatively good shape. It was very noisy at night.

Hotel was better than expected. The upgrades were nice. While there was remodeling, it never interfered with our stay.

Friendly and helpful staff.
Construction was going on and it was noisy during sleeping hours - workers made it a little creepy.

The overall rating of this hotel was accurate - they had a beautiful view of the harbor and it was a nice relaxing place to a degree.
The hotel was however undergoing construction - when I got back from my business presentation I found workers taking a smoke break on my balcony - they also left their equipment on the balcony that night - There seemed to only be a few other patrons on my floor because it was a high construction floor - I felt a little unsafe because of the workers having access keys into the rooms and feeling like I was somewhat alone on the floors with them - they had the hallways blocked and I couldn't roll my luggage down the hall to the elevator. read more

It was close to entertainment, restaurants and the beach.
They were doing a lot of renovations.

The Holiday Inn is located in Little River, SC. It is only a five or ten minute drive to Cherry Grove Beaches and about 20 to Myrtle Beach. The hotel has four floors. Our room was supposed to have two Queens, although I think they were doubles. The hotel has a restaurant that is open every day but Sunday. We did not eat there. They have a workout facility on the fourth floor that consists of one treadmill, one stepper and one stationary bicycle. They have a small swimming pool that overlooked the marina. The staff was nice. Flat screen televisions were installed in every room while we were there. read more
