It was clean, affordable, convenient for our plans & we loved being on the creek. We will stay again.

Parking was limited & gravel area spaces were not marked.

We were traveling with 2 boys, ages 12 & 14. Cleanliness & price were large factors in choosing a hotel and The Shem Creek Inn lived up to expectations for both. Though the building is older, it has charm that the large chain hotels don't have. It was very clean and I liked the way you could choose to have your sheets & towels changed daily or not. That seems more practical than just doing all the extra laundry. The pool was great - you could hear music from the restaurant /bar next door and see dolphins swimming in the Shem Creek. The free continental breakfast was just what we needed for ease & convenience to start our day. Overall, we would definitely stay there again & recommend it to family & friends.

Good location next to Shem Creek restaurants and nightlife. Our room had a balcony.

Bathroom slightly dated.

Overall a good place to stay if you're in Mount Pleasant. Bathroom could use an upgrade, but it was clean, so I really can't even complain about that.

Location and view.

No exercises facilities.

Excellent place if you are a couple and want privacy. Loved the balcony. Very disappointed in the breakfast bar. Very few choices and the bagels went fast.

We did not have a water view, but if you did, it would be a nice view.

Rooms smelled and the hotel is dated.

The hotel is dated, inside and out. Some of the rooms have a creek view, and others have a parking lot/marsh view.

The location was close to downtown.

Employees were rude, room was dirty, breakfast was a bagel, hotel is outdated.

This hotel should be replaced with a newer more up-to-date hotel, I think that would resolve most of its problems, breakfast, staff, decor, room keys, all of these things were the worst I have experienced since college.
