The woman working at the front desk was very friendly, had a lot of information about the area and activities, and was overall very helpful.
The bed was uncomfortable, the room had a bad smell, the linens were of poor quality.

Good overall location in Keystone. Not too crowded.
Small rooms.

This hotel is located about 4 miles from Mt. Rushmore. Is off the beaten path a little so you still have plenty of privacy and is in a very quiet neighborhood.

Small rooms, unfriendly staff, unwilling to be helpful by staff. Would only recommend if traveler intends to not spend time in hotel.

Very helpful with directions. Good continental breakfast.
Smoking and non-smoking rooms were together and the smell permeated the hallways.

The motel is in an out-of-the way place which was nice. It would be a nice place to stay if you're on the move.

The location and the willingness of some of the employees to help.
The lousy mattress on the hide-a-bed & nobody helped to replace it.

The horribly uncomfortable (thin & lumpy) mattress could not be changed on the hide-a-bed and why if the mattress couldn't be changed some accommodations to help with the discomfort couldn't be attempted. After one conversation as a follow up on my part, nothing was every mentioned again. Very disappointing. Room was tiny for one adult and 2 teenagers.
