The suite concept.
The common areas were always dirty, never picked up trash out side of the door, management does not keep a watchful eye.
For a short stay, not too bad. If your expecting something very clean and organized, not the place. We needed a pillow, did not have any, needed sheets, could not find any, the pillow that we used from our personal inventory was stolen. From a positive view, the staff, manager etc. were very polite and helpful.

We enjoyed the excellent breakfast the first morning. The next day it changed.
The toilet set should be changed.
Overall the hotel is ok. My husband was not happy with the lack of air in the hallway. He said he would not use it again. As for myself I think it was fair.

Very creepy old and in a bad neighborhood.
Straight out of the movie the shining. Complete with a maze garden and creepy bar. I kept waiting for my child to start repeating red rum. Not in the safest of neighborhoods and the rooms are very old and dingy.

the hotel staff was wonderful, and upgraded us when water damage was found in our room.
Extra pillows were not supplied.
The hotel and its staff were wonderful. We were very please to get another room when our original room was found with previous water damage to the carpet. A bit of advice, please have extra pillows on hand for guests who sleep with more than 1 pillow.

Staff was very friendly and room was spacious.
First room I went in smelled like smoke but staff was very prompt about finding another room that was fine.

The free hot breakfast was great!
The room stunk like cigarette smoke.
Everything in the room stunk like cigarette smoke, including our clothes and everything in our suitcases when we left. The free hot breakfast was great though! There were eggs, sausage and waffles along with the usual continental fare.

The suite rooms.
It was farther away from downtown.
We were traveling with two young children and the suite rooms worked great. We were able to put them to bed, and then go in our room and watch a little TV before we went to bed. It was also nice to have a free breakfast before we got started again for the day. They had both an indoor and outdoor pool too, which my children enjoyed.

I could not stay longer.
I found the location to be romantic as well as family oriented. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. The grounds were well kept and secure.

I loved the homey atmosphere - it felt like I was staying at my Grandmothers.
I can't think of anything negative to say.
This was my first stay at a Country Suites. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to my friends. I organize the hotel stays for our soccer team when we travel and they all loved staying here.
