The hotel was very clean and very nice shower head.
Morning staff and breakfast.

This hotel was very clean. The location to downtown area was further than expected. You can take the trolley but beware, it only takes you 5 blocks from Beale street. The continental breakfast was not well stocked. The morning staff is more interested in talking on the cell phone than helping their guests. The coffee maker in the room did not work but the evening staff did make an attempt to resolve the issue. read more

I enjoyed the decorative aspects of the hotel.
Our room was not cleaned because we were still inside during cleaning time and no one came back to clean when we left.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be close to downtown Memphis, however not pay a substantial price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The color of the walls. It was very nice, room and public area. Hotel staff was friendly.
It was a little noisy when it was about 3-4 am that was only one night though. So the family thing may not apply.

My girlfriend and I went stayed at the Gen-X Inn in Memphis, TN and we loved it. We are both in our early twenty's and it was perfect. Maybe not for a family because it was a little loud when it got to be around 3-4 am on one of the nights but I am sure it is not always like that. The staff was great the room was clean and it was close to downtown. I suggest staying here.
