The staff was nice and the rooms were clean.
Bad area, lots of police activity and suspicious people lurking around.
This hotel would be perfect if it were in a better part of town.

Everything was very clean & very easy to find.
The water was only cold and not hot.
A great place for the money. Would definitely stay there upon return to Nashville. Only complaint was shower was cold but everything was very clean & the beds were comfortable.

Location & the price.
They put us in a smoking room and we did not smoke.
I argued with the front desk person that we cannot stay in a smoking room! I have very severe asthma. He also said that this was their only room available when we checked in! I told him to book us on another Day's Inn in the city but he said they are all independently owned and he cannot do that for us.

Bathrooms had been recently redone.
Disappointed about the distance away from Opryland.
Basic no-frills hotel on the North side of town about 4-5 miles from Opryland.

Close to highway 65/ and work, and it is cheap.
The general area/neighborhood.
Good for business traveler like me who is looking for a cheap place to stay during week days? Free internet access is a plus. The free donut and coffee are just ok.

I like the location in comparison to our travel route.
They charged me extra to get 2 beds.
I was disappointed in this hotel and this is only the 2nd bad experience. The room was fairly comfortable, they had a microwave and refrigerator in the room which was a good thing since their continental breakfast only included stale donuts, juice and coffee. The one man that I saw at both check in and check out was not pleasant and argued with me. I already felt I had paid too much for this room and to have to pay extra to get two beds didn't sit well with me. read more

The heating system kept the room toasty.
Problems with door lock, noisy neighbors.
This establishment has seen better days. Appears maintenance is being done but if the owners really want the family business, a more forward and comprehensive approach is needed.

Front desk staff was very helpful.
Near busy highway (noisy). Broken bathroom door.
The front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful in giving directions.
The bathroom door looked as if it had been rammed and then patched to be operable. Refrigerator in the room was an unexpected plus.

This hotel had very easy access to interstate.
I did not find much shopping close to the hotel.
