The rooms were nice.
You have to pay to park and get in-room internet.
This was a horrible experience! When checking in, I was informed that I had to pay to park. Then when I got to my room, I found out that I had to pay extra if I wanted interment access in my room, but it was free in the lobby area. The room was warm, so I turned the AC down to cool off the room. Then I went down to the lobby to use the free internet before I left to go to the football game that night. When I got back to the hotel after the game, I just stopped by the lobby again to use the free internet in order to save time. When I finished using the internet (which I had trouble getting to work this time even in the lobby area), I went back to my room and immediately noticed that it was very warm in my room - the AC was not working! I called the front desk explaining the problem and they gave me a new room. So I pack everything back up and move to my new room. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had! read more

Great location.
Was issued a key that didn't unlock the door!
Real nice place, RIGHT off of I 35 North bound. There was an independent van shuttle for $5 one way - much cheaper then a cab!

The cookies.
No cable TV & you have to pay to park.
The Doubletree Austin lives up to its brand. We knew what to expect and were not disappointed. However, I was irritated that we had to pay $8 to park at the hotel where else would we park and that, additionally, the only free TV they offered was the local stations and HBO. To order a PPV movie was $9-$11, so we declined. We were disappointed with that aspect, and annoyed by the parking issue. Other than that, we had a great experience. And the cookies were fantastic, as always! read more

Beautiful interior with spectacular courtyard. We would definitely stay here again. Rooms were nice but not as nice as the interior courtyard. Only regret is the fountains were not running at the entrance or the courtyard. Possibly water restrictions explains this.

Location was excellent, staff were friendly, room was comfortable and clean.
Had two double beds, kind of small for two people to share, musty odor in room.
For the price, it was excellent. The room was a little musty, so don't believe it has been used much. Had a few loud guest in the wee hours of the morning, but that wasn't the hotels fault. Overall, hotel was clean, staff was friendly, I would recommend it to my friends and family. I would stay there again.

I have stayed there before and I like the parking garage.
Wish I could have gotten it for cheaper.
Loved the Chocolate Chip Cookie.
