The staff that greeted us was very friendly and helpful.
My stay at this hotel was great. The room was a nice size and conveniently located in Austin. I would stay here again anytime.

It was very close to the event I was attending.
Don't stay here if you're expecting a 3 star or more hotel. The only amenity was a complimentary newspaper and 2 tiny bars of soap. The refrigerator froze my orange slices, and I had to go to the front desk for clean towels. The only good thing was the close proximity to the event I was attending.

We loved the location, lay out of room and the amenities were great. We also loved the location.
We were hoping for a pool but that was not a big deal and the bed was a little uncomfortable but manageable.
We highly recommend this hotel for leisure or work. Very close to downtown and all the places we wanted to go to. The location was great and we felt very safe the entire time we were there. The amenities in the room were great and if we were staying for more than one night, we would definitely pick this hotel again.

I slept there.
Filthy.
This is a bad hotel. I would have gladly paid more for a better hotel. Every bad thing said about this place it true. The sinks didn't drain, cockroaches were there on the floor, dirty bathroom. There was skin in the bathtub. AC was super loud and the bed was like a torture device. I really can't think of a good reason to stay in this place.

Close to Downtown, SoCo, and Barton Springs
The horrible smell in the 3rd floor hallway.
The room was what I expected for the star level. It was clean, but very basic. No complaints about that. However, I was very unhappy about a horrible smell in the hallway right outside my door. I didn't notice it the first night, but it grew increasingly worse over my four night stay. It smelled like something was rotting, and it was so strong I literally held my breath when leaving and arriving. I called about it twice, but nothing was done. The staff was friendly, but did absolutely nothing in regard to my concern about the smell in the hall. They just said that it had been that way all summer, and they thought it was a problem with their pipes. read more

I liked having a kitchenette with stove and a full-sized fridge!
The carpet in the hallway and my room could be replaced.
Overall, it was a great place to stay considering our budget. It was close to 6th St, Guadalupe street, and Zilker park. I loved that we had a kitchen with stove, microwave, and fridge. The hotel room was clean and tidy. Nothing special but met our needs for the price we paid. It was also quiet so we had great sleep.
