Description of Comfort Suites North Padre Island
The Comfort Suites is next to the Gulf of Mexico and Padre Island beaches, within two miles of National Seashore and State Parks, fishing, boating, surfing, swimming. Hotel has interior corridors, elevator, business center, two meeting rooms, exercise room, outdoor pool and a hot tub. The suites have either a king bed or two queen beds with sofa sleeper. Each suite has a microwave, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, hair dryer, iron/board, free high-speed wired/wireless Internet and desk. Hotel has one-room suites, one-bedroom suites, equipped kitchen suites and in room whirlpool suites, balconies and ocean views. Hotel has full free hot breakfast. All Comfort Suites are smoke free. read more

Close to the beach and they upgraded us to a room wtih a balcony for free.

Very clean, breakfast very good with hot and cold foods and fresh fruit, rooms very nice, excellent updated bathrooms. No moldy or smoky smells! Microwave and fridge in room.

The rooms were nice.
The staff were indifferent to their guests.

The staff was not friendly or helpful. Dont drink the coffee or juice we all got sick to our stomachs. Hardly any water pressure.

Convenient to the beech, friendly staff, good breakfast, kids loved the pool.
Hide a bed was broken. We had to ask for bedding for it and make it ourselves.

Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Just a short walk (about a short city block) to the beach!

This property was a pleasant surprise. It more than met our expectations and we will plan another stay!

Comfortable bed.
There were roaches in the room and the hotel staff did not try to compensate is in any way. They said is was a natural occurrence.

Nice in appearance and close to the beach, but staff was not friendly. When problems were mentioned, the staff ignored the concerns and spoke of the problems as if they were typical and minor flaws.

We enjoyed the breakfast. However there was not enough room for the guest to eat.
We were let to believe that this hotel was on the beach at North Padre Island. In actuality it was across the street from the beach.

This hotel - Comfort Suites, North Padre Island, Corpus Christi - is very nice and clean. It does not smell of mildew. This is remarkable considering that it is across the road from the beach. (Across the road, on the beach, the Holiday Inn-Sun Spree Resort,does smell of mildew.) It is very close to beach access point.

Loved the location - loved the suite - loved the bed - loved the breakfast.
Morning staff were not very friendly.

Would definitely stay here again. Morning staff at front desk and in the breakfast area need to put a smile on their face.
