This hotel looks like the best one on North Padre Island, Texas. It's a 2.5star to 3star so the restaurant and premises are not as sparkling as a 4 or 5star, but the location, if you like the beach is magnificent and very great for long walks in either direction. Lots of friendly people.

Very poor maintenance.

Great location right on the water. The hotel's infrastructure needs a serious investment, though. The elevators sound like they're ready to collapse, with creaks and groans and bangs as you ride them. The bathrooms and this isn't my first stay here have massive sag points from water leaks. I won't stay here again - and I recommend other travelers explore newer hotels across the street from this Holiday Inn. read more

They didn't call me, the wake-up call failed.

I was very disappointed, I missed the fishing boat I had reserved for my birthday, due to the fact that didn't wake me up.
