Days Inn Falfurrias

The hotel was nice for the price. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Included a refrigerator, atmosphere around hotel was relaxed, friendly. The wakeup call system was not setup to call at the correct time and internet did not work.

The room was more than I expected, initially. The carpet was clean, soft and well kept. The bed was firm and comfortable. We had a working iron, an ironing board, a coffee pot with coffee, a microwave and refrigerator, all the amenities you could desire. Unfortunately, the light and fan in the restroom stopped working that evening while my husband was showering and after a strong storm blew through, the air conditioning and several lights never came back on. The next morning we had no hot water and management kept trying to blame a transformer, other rooms had all their lights and a/c. Service that evening was non-existent. Management denied that they could do anything, including moving us to another room, and wouldn't even think of replacing light bulbs. Though the storm and subsequent power outage was not within the control of management, their unresponsiveness was unacceptable and I would not recommend this motel to anyone. read more

We did not visit the lobby or anything besides our room. It was fairly clean and everything worked. But, with the hotel being mostly unoccupied, I would have felt safer with a room in front rather than all the way in the back.
