The room was very spacious and clean.
The reception area was very small.
I was pleasantly surprised by the Candle wood. Extended stay hotels can be unpredictable and worn. This hotel was beautifully kept and the cupboard was great for my teenager.

Clean and comfortable.
The staff seemed a little unorganized at check in.
I would definitely recommend, stay here again, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and affordable.

Notihng.
I travel a lot, because my job. And this is my worst experience in the last years. The hotel completed is very dirty. All the hotel smell to cigar and different odors. The carpet in the common areas is dirty, old and in some areas broken. The room smell, to cigar and others odors. Next day to my arrival was necessary took all my clothes to the dry cleaning because the bad odor impregnated it. People with loud music were screaming in the contiguous rooms. Kids playing around the common areas and close to the rooms doors. Screaming and disturbing the guest. I suggest send somebody to check the quality of this hotel. read more

The Staff was extremely helpfully and accommodating.
There was no option for a room with two beds and the hotel did not have roll-away beds.
Great hotel for single business travelers needing a kitchen, very clean with an extremely helpfully and accommodating staff. But the hotel has only one queen size bed in each room and no roll-away beds. So not great if traveling with kids or a non-romantic partner.

Very nice suite with full kitchen facilities.
Noise problem with residents partying and poor response from night clerk.
This is an excellent hotel for someone who wants a long term stay with complete kitchen facilities. The internet connection is excellent. The room heater/air conditioner is noisy. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. With the exception of one bad night with noisy residents, this hotel met all our expectations.

Good value for money at location inside Beltway. Convenient snack sales by honor system.
Hard to Find Entrance to Hotel off I-610 access road. Dangerous because poorly lit & marked.
Good value for money. Convenient location inside the I-610 beltway. Nice snack bar area where food sold on honor system. Quiet. Tasty Cajun restaurant in strip center within walking distance. The entrance to Candlewood Suites is hard to find off the I-610 access road. The turn-off street is poorly marked and poorly lit. It is a divided road and I almost turned into oncoming traffic. I had to go up to West park Dr and turn right and then right again to arrive at the location. read more

I liked the amenities that it had, microwave, stove, fridge, blow dryer etc.
The hallways were hot. I think they were working on the air conditioner.
The hotel was a nice place to stay. It has many amenities and was very clean.

Nothing.
Location, workout room inadequate, no pool.
The staff was rude as well as the general manager. There are no restaurants nearby the hotel and the location is awful.

Location.
The hotel only has rooms with one bed.
We thought we could request a room with another bed (or at least with a fold-out) but they couldn't even do that. When we called the front desk they told us they were an "extended stay" hotel and that they didnt offer anything but only single bed rooms.
