It was upscale and I felt very safe in Downtown Houston.
The parking service was slow and there wasn't any hot water for my shower in the morning. Breakfast was expensive.
Great place, but some of the general things like hot water were lacking.

The valet parking and price.
I enjoyed my stay. The staff was pleasant and were all very helpful. As a matter of fact, they went out of their way to help me with directions and whatever else I needed. The atmosphere was very nice. My room was inviting and very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Proximity to areas that I visited.
No refrigerator in standard rooms, no swimming pool in a hotel of that size.
Excellent for short stay travelers doing business in Downtown.

Staff was professional and friendly.
Maintenance work being done earlier in the morning creating noise for us in our room.
When maintenance work has to be done at the hotel, unless it's an emergency, the hotel should not book rooms that will be disturbed during that maintenance work. The work started at 7:30a.m. and woke me and my family up. We were on the 19th floor of a 20th floor building and the work was being done on the roof. The hotel should have made sure to book room away from all the noise. We stayed their one night, so changing rooms was not an option for our stay. read more
