It was clean, convenient, had wireless internet access and was reasonably priced.
The breakfast was mediocre at best.

This Hotel is close to the Houston Intercontinental Airport and is a good place for the Business or Casual traveler to stay for a night or two while transiting in and out of Houston. It is clean, neat, reasonably priced, and has shuttle service to the airport.

Staff was the friendliest and most helpful I have experienced in some time. Hotel was also very clean and new. Excellent free hot breakfast.
No real problems, but a bit far from restaurants. If you don't have a car, the shuttle driver will take you to three of the closest restaurants.

One of the best hotel experiences I've had in years and at a very good price. The staff was consistently friendly, professional and helpful. Manager was also friendly-so much so I thought I might be in some alternative universe. Hotel and room was spotlessly clean. I hardly ever rave about hotels being a jaded business traveler, but this hotel really deserves some recognition. Free hot breakfast was good too. read more

The staff was curtious about changes and updates.
Nearby construction of another hotel, fouling the entry to this hotel.

Everything was in good standings as far as the hotel and staff was concerned.

Friendly and helpful staff, room very nice, ceiling fan, great coffee.
No convenient restaurants (within 3 miles); at least two trys to flush the toilet.

This Holiday Inn Express is very convenient to the Intercontinental Airport, Downtown Houston and Interstate 45. While driving directions generally have you take the Sam Houston Tollway, it is actually more convenient to take Beltway 8. The hotel is easier to find if you drive the Beltway. The complimentary continental breakfast was on par with what most hotels offer. The coffee was excellent! The room was very clean and with a comfortable side chair. read more
