Best Western Johnson City Inn

The staff is very nice and was helpful. The rooms are standard, with only room for a small side table and a small table next to the TV cabinet. Everything was perfectly clean and sanitary, and the provided shampoo and soap are good quality and generous enough for 4 people to use once. The rooms and the hotel in general are well kept and nicely landscaped. It would have been nice if the cleaning crew had turned on the window-mounted AC unit for us before we arrived, but I understand not wanting to leave it running all day if we didn't check in until the evening. My only complaint is the very small outdoor pool. It quickly got crowded with only a couple of families coming out to swim, but we actually had it to ourselves most of the evening, so it ended up not mattering. read more

This Best Western was more than adequate for an overnight stay in Johnson City. The facilities were very clean and the heater worked quickly. The tile on the bathroom floor was much nicer than you'd expect in such a facility. The only downside, location-wise, is that it's right in the middle of a T-type intersection, making it slightly tricky to get in to the parking lot if you're approaching from the west. Our toilet backed up the morning of our departure, but it was as we were leaving, so we weren't inconvenienced. read more
