Location.
No wireless internet must use a cable, no safety locks on doors, smell in room.

Hotel is very easy to get to, has a lot of channels on the TV, although the room appeared to be clean it smelled musty. I did not feel safe because the door to the room didn't have a chain lock or any kind of safety lock.

Pets welcome.
The hotel staff not real friendly.

This hotel accepted pets for a $10 up-charge; and it had grass areas nearby. The room was very clean, and smoke-free. I was very pleased with the accommodations while traveling with my new puppy. (and the puppy never had an 'accident' because I was able to walk her so often).

Staff really nice.
Cost a bit high and bathrooms need to be cleaned better.

Rooms not bad, bathrooms need to be detail cleaned. Once this is done, upkeep would be minimal from that point on. Room serviced well and staff very nice. The rooms are a bit overpriced but we enjoyed the stay here anyway.

Cleanliness.
Room temperature was a little hard to control.

Staff was friendly and helpful. We will be staying at this hotel for our next trip to the Texas hill country.

Decor of room.
Desk personnel should have given me the option of staying at another hotel since they were cleaning carpets.

The milk for the continental breakfast was spoiled. The orange juice tasted like apple juice. The carpet cleaners had huge, noisy equipment and they took hours to do the job. They left doors open and furniture out in the narrow hallway for 2 hours while the rooms dried. If I had been warned of the scheduled maintenance, I would have found another hotel. Even with the do not disturb sign in place, they knocked on the door, then phoned my room to ask if the cleaners could come in. Meanwhile, all my belongings were in the room, so I refused to let them enter. read more

The price and performance of the staff.
The look.

The hotel did not look very nice but the location and staff were awesome! I would definitely stay here again. It's not a romantic place by any means and the rooms are a little small but it worked great for us!
