Felt unsafe. Room door had obviously been kicked in once.

I had no desire to have to show my drivers license to someone I did not know or trust. I did not like the idea of a hotel staff knowing where my home was and that I was away from it. I didn't even have to show my ID to a cop unless they told me why (unless they had probable cause). But I needed to show it to a person in a strange city? Come on!

The staff was kind but not very helpful.
Dirty everything. Did not have iron or board, we borrowed one and it ruined my sons close before a funeral. No mirror, no hairdryer attached.

We had so many problems. Tough time checking in, no mirror, hair dryer, iron and board, Kleenex, clock, no soda, no ice. Keys would demagnetize, breakfast never restocked, pool dirty, hair in clean towels, hair in tub when first arrived. I renamed this hotel as America's worst motel! Sad but true. This trip was to attend a funeral of a family member. The iron that we borrowed even ruined my sons clothes for the funeral. After returning home I still can't get it clean. read more

Housekeeping staff friendly.
Reserved a room w/a sleeper sofa & did not get one in my room.

The whole stay was unsatisfactory. The milk to the continental barks was locked in a fridge. The cereal was stale. The pools water was dirty. The towels were clean but stained. The comforters had cigarette burns. The laundry room was dirty. Only 2 chairs to sit on in the pool area. Internet service in room & at business office was slow. Pillows were not clean.

It came with a mini fridge and microwave.
Not enough lighting.

I liked how at the breakfast you could make your own Texas shaped waffles. The staff is friendly and the room was a good size. The beds could be more comfortable though.
