The room smelled of MOLD! Nasty!

The hotel was nice. The moldy smelling room not so great. The staff were attentive and informative.

The stairs were very dirty.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the beach. The hotel staff was great. The rooms were decent. Overall, we liked it and would stay again.

Rooms were very musky smelly. Lobby lot newer looking than rooms.

Overall excellent location 3-4 blocks from beach. Within a block from lots of shops and restaurant. In the heart of Port Aransas. We went the first weekend in May not overly crowded yet. The kids liked using the WII in the Lobby and Wi-Fi for there laptop. They enjoyed the swimming pool it used salt instead of chlorine which is a lot less irritant. Breakfast was good hardboiled eggs, make your own waffles, bagels, pastries, cereal, and fruit. The lobby area was very fresh and modern looking and the staff was the friendliest and helpful of any hotel we have stayed at. read more

Clean, in nice area of neighborhood, staff very helpful. Room comfortable.
The bathtub did not have any kind of handle if slipped.

Pool area was beautifully maintained, and breakfast area very well supervised and inviting. High humidity is just part of this part of country, so it was hard to get things dry (including yourself).

The Best Western has a great location. Well within walking distance to pretty much everything. The staff was helpful, the breakfast was good (waffles!) and the bed was clean.
