Great staff, amazing service, way over and beyond.
Crappy gym.

Beautiful hotel, super helpful staff, large rooms, full service business center, well located, very quit rooms. The hotel was a nice change from the usual Marriott or Hilton. Much more personally, but still reliable. My only complaint was the gym, not great.

The decor and room were warm and inviting.
Was not to happy to find out the room had no refrigerator or microwave. Not even one down stairs that you could use.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful, it was in a great location for downtown Riverwalk, with plenty of shops and restaurants. The room was very spacious, was a little dusty. Was not to happy that they don't have a microwave or fridge. But overall very comfortable.

Lack of parking, had to pay $28.00 to park.

Only one bed. Room otherwise was OK for our purpose. One disappointment, for the price of the room, there was no refrigerator.

The hotel was just ok.
Eating at the hotel was impossible. We were not informed we had to make reservations.

Other guests were very loud & noisy during the night. We were awakened several times. We were only provided with one roll of toilet paper for the entire stay. It did not last and was very embarrassing. It is not likely we will stay at the Hotel Contessa again.

Beautiful rooms, amazing bathroom and seating area. Ideal location right on the River Walk.
Parking is very expensive. $30/night at the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Contessa. The room was beautiful and the suite layout was very convenient. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was awesome. Marble counter tops and large tile floors, beautiful wooden doors. Amazing hotel and ideal location, right on the River Walk. We can't wait to go back.

Rooms are huge! They look to all be suites.
Small beds.

We got a handicap room, so that could be the reason for the small beds, but the room was huge. We paid exactly half of what the price of the hotels. Great location for the River Walk on the quite side, and a very short safe walk to the restaurants. Parking across the street in the parking garage for $12 per day. The bus stop in front of the hotel had a few scary people hanging out there during the day, but no beggars. The River Walk construction is done now, I heard it was quite noisy. read more
