They have a good breakfast.
They don't clean your room, or bring you towels, not good service.

This hotel used to be very nice. It is old and the service is minimal. The check-in staff is great, but the maid service is horrible. If you are not up and ready at 8 your room will not be cleaned nor will there be clean towels left for you. When we first got there we got a room key and to our surprise there was actually someone in that room. We had to go and get another room assigned. We came back the third night and the key would not open out door, we had to get it re logged. It is just not a good hotel to get at a discount when you can go across the street to Comfort Suites and they will make you a great deal on a room. Just call, because when we try to use we always get Best Western. I hate staying there. The rooms smell like smoke and there is a club there and so all of the drunks are leaving around 1am and you definately hear them. There are 4 new hotels in Sulphur springs Texas, try one of them. read more

I felt welcomed by the staff and the room was very nice and smelled very clean.
The bathroom was a little small, but very nice and clean.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The price was excellent and the breakfast was very good. It was a small comfortable place.

I work nights and sleep days I needed a room that was away from the highway & road.

The hotel was nice and clean for the more part and did git me into a room. I could sleep after working all night and driving 39 mile in the fog and I just needed to sleep.

It was very nice and quiet.
Climbing the stairs.

It was a very nice place to stay, next time I will make sure I am on the bottom floor. Love the AC they don't cut off in the middle of the night, can't sleep in silence. Would recommend it in a heart beat.

Had a sliding glass door that led into the courtyard area which was nice.
It was noisy due to the Rodeo convention in town.

Nice, clean, comfortable. Had a sliding glass door that led into the courtyard area which was nice. A solid 2 star hotel. I stayed there 10-15 years ago and was horrified that that was the hotel that we were given so I was amazed at all of the renovations they had done since I stayed there last. Much, much nicer than it use to be. Not near as nice as the other 2 star hotels in town which are only a few years old. read more

I think the surroundings are attractive and well kept.
Sink area in our room was a little small but ok.

My wife and I have stayed here about once a year for 7 years. It's our yearly trip to see the old car parade in Winnsboro. There is a field and valley on the east side that is often filled with fog on a cool morning and the sunrise over the fog is breathtaking. We've never had a bad experience here. Always good.

Check-out time and that only took 20 minutes to accomplish.
Filthy room and facilities. Unfriendly, unqualified, and lazy staff.

Do not! I repeat, do not stay at this hotel if you value your time, money, and health. Unfriendly, with an attitude, staff at the front desk, I stayed 9 days/nights at this hotel and didn't get room service 3 of those days. One day, I got room service, towels only, only because I arrived back at the hotel early enough to ask for it. I only saw the maid service change towels in the rooms; I never saw or heard a vacuum cleaner during my stay. The hotel is filthy inside and littered with trash outside. There are better, cleaner hotels located nearby and the price is about the same. read more
