Stars on the ceiling when you turn off the lights.
Black mold in ice bucket and on floor!

Only spent one night. won't stay again. room full of mold.
I spilled a half a glass of water on the floor and wiped it up with a hand towel. the towel turned black from the mold on the floor! no kidding, mold, black mold in the lid of the ice bucket also!

The ceiling had stars that glowed in the dark! In walking distance of Main Street , stores and restaurants.
The room was very musty, I had to buy candles to try to cover the smell. Dirty carpet under bed.

The hotel was near the center of town,within walking distance of stores and restaurants. The room was average for the price. The room was very musty, we had to go out to buy candles to try to cover up the smell and the carpet under the bed was covered with trash. One nice thing was the ceiling, it was covered with glow in the dark stars!

Motel was just fine. Many of the amenities in the room were brand new and overall things were kept clean and organized for our stay.

Great location, reasonable price; this kids loved the little pool.
Loud and smelly air conditioning units, a bit rundown, beds & pillows.

This was probably the cheapest option we could find on Chincoteague in high season. It was clean, the staff was friendly. Our little kids loved the above ground pool, and it was right in the center of everything - great location. On the other hand, the rooms were kinda smelly, the air conditioning units all leaked, the beds weren't particularly comfortable. It was decent on the price/performance graph. read more

The room was very dirty. The fridge had black mold. Room service eventually cleaned it. We stayed three nights. The second night, the room was never maintenances. Beds not made and no clean towels. The manager said that they forgot to clean the room. No apology. Overall, worst hotel I have EVER stayed in. Do not recommend, especially with the mold issue.
