The hotel was physically attractive from the outside with beautiful landscaping to enhance the architecture and I liked the fruit in the lobby.
There was really not anything not to like especially at the price we paid.
The hotel is conveniently located to Interstate 64, the beds were comfortable, the linens clean and soft, the restaurant associated with the hotel was conveniently reached without walking outside and the breakfast food was delicious. There were extras like a coffee maker, hair dryer, refrigerator, ironing board, a work table and a refreshment table.

good location, very clean, nice indoor/outdoor pool
the hotel needs an update-decor is very 80's, beds need replaced
Overall, this hotel met our expectations. It was a very clean hotel, friendly staff and had a great pool area. The hotel does need an update, however, as it has a very 1980's feel to it.

Cable TV, and cleanliness.
Staff was unfriendly, the mattress were old, decor out dated, pool water a little murky.
Customer service makes all the difference in the world to me. The staff was unfriendly and seemed downright annoyed by our presence. The exception would be the the one employee that told me not to drink the coffee from a particular pot because the auditor made it and didn't do a very good job. Decor and furnishings were outdated and mattresses had seen better days. It was overall clean. But I expected more for the price. read more

Close to the Highway. Midpoint stop for us on the way to VA Beach.
Restaurant was horrible. Fire alarm went off 3 times. Staff could not find our reservations.
When we checked in, it took 15 minutes for the front desk to find our reservations. The restaurant was horrible and overpriced. The fire alarm went off at least three times due to a birthday part at the pool with a group of 6 year olds that should have been asked to leave after the second time. If was a fine pit stop on our way to Virginia Beach since my wife and I were traveling with our 6 month old, but in no way was this any more than an economy hotel. I would not stay it again. read more
