That the room had a nice view to the pool and the trees that were there.
That the water in the pool was a little unclear.
Well like I said I liked the back of the hotel facing the pool, also the parking. The other side didn't looked so nice but the room was nice.

The were alot of fights and one time I had to call the desk. In the morning the maid carts are so loud on the cement outside that it sounds like a train is rolling past your room and you wake up no matter if you were already up or not. Pretty much the worst hotel/motel experience I've had in years. The people at the desk were nice though but they have to get it together with their hotel. Horrible! read more

The clerk at check-in was helpful in changing my room.
1st room was smelly and not clean.
Upon arrival, the room I was given smelled of water damage and mold. I purchased Lysol which helped somewhat. I wiped up water I spilled on the sink and the tissue was full of hair and God only knows what else. I went to the desk and showed the clerk the tissue. She immediately changed my room and with an upgrade. Stay ended up being satisfactory.

They were willing to put me in a better room when the things in my room (like the AC) didn't work and my tub didn't drain.
The rooms weren't thoroughly cleaned. Used soap in the shower and floors weren't vacuumed.

The friendly hotel staff.
Oh my gosh, where to start.
The hotel however is in the middle of a very bad area. Do not attempt to stay here with children; they may see things you dont want them to. The first room made me ill while in the room. After they switched my room there was no health problem. I would not stay here again even if I were paid to.

Continental Breakfast.
Roaches and not enough towels in the room for each person.
The first two nights were ok. The room smelled like a gas leak. There were 4 of us in a room and only 2 towels. It took a day to get the other two towels. For the last night we were in a different room because of a free night stay- we needed to check out and check back in. We were in the room for a total of about 10 minutes. Several roaches were on the sink, dresser, floor and bed. We left immediately and had to find another hotel at 9:00pm with 2 kids. The staff was friendly. The pool was closed down for the first day and looked neglected. It opened the day we left. read more

We liked the pool and the convenience to the beach.
There were no towels/washcloths in the room. Staff wasn't concerned with this problem. They offered no help in locating clean towels.
The beds were comfortable. The hotel didn't live up to the photos that were posted on the internet. Rooms were in need of a few repairs and the staff was generally not very helpful. I have never been to a hotel that did not have towels in the room. Thank goodness we still had our beach towels. We received one towel at check in to be used for the pool. One towel for a party of 3. I would not recommend this hotel for future stays. read more

The staff was friendly, and they had internet service available.
It was worthy of a 1 star rating.
The building had a few short comings like exposed electrical wiring.
