Days Inn South Seattle - Kent

I took pictures even though they can't describe the smell or the sounds of barking dogs and screaming kids. Not only was it unclean but I did not feel safe at all. I am sending the pictures to the better business bureau and hope they will investigate this hotel.

The hotel was in a nice location, although it was far from the airport. The people there were very helpful.

This hotel is a dump. Transferred from my first room due to strong rug cleaner smell. The desk staff wore shorts, was tattooed - high school drop-outs. My door frame was wood and busted; one lousy dinning room chair to sit in and no desk. Most of the guests (welfare families) smoked; the outside security lock did not work at night. The hall rig was dirty. If you go to the back of the hotel, where I stayed, it was a dump. Take this hotel off your list. read more

Fairly comfortable, very basic, which is what we wanted. We just needed a stopping point for the night, before driving to our destination in the morning, so this was just fine. Not a resort, by any means, but fairly clean and comfortable.

Should make people stay at this hotel at any star level.

The room overhead kept us awake till 1am. The electrical outlets shot sparks or had no power.

This is a very pleasant hotel that I would use again when I have a weekend workshop. Nice to have the TV for wind down. The room was clean, and the heater was appreciated due to a cool start to spring. The staff was very helpful when I needed their service. Location was perfect for my needs.

The staff
is very nice and changed my room to a non smoking.
